Susan Kurtz is the founder of Resolution Place.  Susan is passionate about working with people who have clear intentions to resolve their legal issues in a conscious, non-violent manner. 
As a collaborative lawyer, an advanced civil mediator and an educator, Susan Kurtz has been helping to guide individuals and groups to healthy and sound legal solutions in Nelson, British Columbia since 1993. Susan Kurtz is a strong member of the West Kootenay community and has served as President of the Nelson Rotary Club, Chair of Kootenay Coop Radio, Director of Community First Health Coop and Director of Nelson StreetFest.  Susan Kurtz has contributed to the professional legal community by serving as President of the Kootenay Bar Association, Member of the Judicial Advisory Committee, Member of the QC Appointment Committee and Director of the Women Lawyers Forum of the Canadian Bar Association.  Susan Kurtz is a talk show host, a dedicated student of music and yoga and a Member of both the British Columbia and the Alberta Bars.
